VIRK does not have any control over your benefits.
Your union can advise you regarding your rights for when your sick leave runs out.
If an individual has completed their sick leave with their employer then you may be entitled to benefits from the Icelandic Health Insurance. For more information please follow this link.
If an individual is waiting on a vocational rehabilitation plan for TR then a doctor or another member of your treatment team can make a plan and submit it for you.
